There are a total of 25 songs in this book of 128 pages. I can't see how one would not like this book, unless one is a completist and wants the complete Beatles. The Beatles made a total of 275 songs. Putting 275 songs in one book would result in a fat, heavy and unwieldy 1,408 pages (= 128 x 11)! This book of "only" 25 songs is easier to handle, and it's got some of their better songs. Unlike a 1,408 page mammoth sized book, if this book were to fall on your toes, they'll still be safe. I would hate to play with steel toed boots.... ;-)

MARK GARCIA is the Research Co-ordinator and an MPhil/PhD Supervisor in the Department of Architecture at the Royal College of Art (RCA). Mark has worked for Branson Coates Architecture and has held academic research posts at St Antony’s College (Oxford University) and the Department of Industrial Design Engineering (Royal College of Art), as well as lecturing in Universities across Japan, Switzerland and the UK. About the Author
Robert D. "Bob" Christ is President of SeaTrepid International, a full-service subsea robotics company operating a fleet of over 35 ROVs worldwide. Mr. Christ began his ROV career with Oceaneering then continued on as a co-founder of VideoRay (a leading OCROV manufacturer) and has continued his career as the founder of SeaTrepid. He has dual BS degrees from Louisiana Tech University and lives in heart of the US Offshore Oil & Gas industry in Southeastern Louisiana.

Excellent Reference and Practical Guide

The ROV Manual by Bob Christ and Bob Wernli is a great reference book for operators, pilots and owners. A good manual that can be used as a textbook or simply as a reference has been needed for a long time. With chapters on subjects ranging from the history of ROVs, to practical, hands-on tips for specific types of field operations it is a wealth of information for the newcomer and seasoned pilot alike. I highly recommend it. (In the interest of full disclosure, I contributed the section on lighting in chapter 3 but don't let that dissuade you. This is an excellent book).

My 5 year old loves this book!

I am a Mom with a very sensitive 5 year old. I have trouble expressing my anger and have struggled teaching my son a healthy way to express his. I don't want him to just hold it in like me because that isn't healthy, but there have been times when his anger is so explosive I wonder how healthy that is as well. The book has helped us both. It has given us both a healthy way of expressing and diffusing our anger.

The illustrations in this book are fabulous. My son laughs at all the funny expressions on the Octopus's face as he learns to tighten and then relax his muscles. He had me read the book twice last night.

A wonderful metaphor for anger management

I've just recently learned of Lori Lite and her products and I am thrilled with each and every item I have purchased. I work as a special educator for children with moderate/severe disabilities, ages 8 - 10 years old. My students are children with autism, asperger's and other disabilities, and their true challenges lie in self-regulation and social/emotional difficulties. These products have helped us as a classroom tremendously, especially The Angry Octopus (which happens to be the favorite!) We use this book, along with an octopus puppet, to really bring the story to life. My students follow the story along, practicing their breathing. I am now starting to see them use the breathing techniques throughout the day when they are angry or anxious. These products are a wonderful addition to my classroom curriculum. Thank you!

Great book for teaching children about anger and relaxation

I am a graduate student in clinical psychology that works primarily with children. I am also an aunt and a collector of childrens books. I have purchased three copies of this book to date. The illustrations are beautiful, the story is appealing to children, and the book functions as a way to teach relaxation and helps to soothe the child.

I added this book to my own collection, and have purchased two as gifts for my niece (age 5) and cousin (age 6). They both love the book. My sister in law has told me that her daughter was having difficulties with tantrums, and after a few weeks of reading, is using the techniques with her daughter to help her relax before a tantrum escalates. The book is fun, a great story, and an appropriate way to help children identify and manage anger.

I highly recommend this book.

You're Paying Too Much

While this report (for it can't be considered a book)has an interesting vivew on the pineal gland this book is too expensive for what you get. You can find all this information online for free.

The report is so short (6 pages) that most of this so called book is blank pages (14 pages) so that they can put it in book form. They tell you they have to do this in order to be able to publish it in book form. Another interesting thing is that the pages are numbered in the 300s so this is obviously and excerpt or chapter from a book.

Absolutely not worth the money!!!!

Not a book.

If you are expecting a book, then you'd be disappointed when you recieve an article that does not take up half of the amount of pages used (there were about 15 blank pages, good for notes, I guess). I recommend the material, since Manly P. Hall's essays are very obscure. Just get a used/cheap copy and you'll be set. Don't bother paying $12.00 bucks for an article.

The encyclopedic bible of urology

This book is the most extensive single source of urologic information available. It covers all basic aspects of urology in a fairly complete manner. The main drawbacks are:
1)Reference authors quoted directly in text. This makes the book fairly diffcult to read in a fluid manner and adds extra length to the already lengthy text. Gillenwater is a much more readble text.
2)Some chapters need a better overall framework. The best example of this is the chapter on adrenal pathology which does not provide a very good thorough to the asymptomatic adrenal mass, by far the most common adrenal problem.
3)Often excessive discussion regarding all the studies for and against an issue. I feel that it would be better to state that an issue is unresolved and then list some appropriate ways of attacking the problem.
4)Certain chapters are written in the 1st person. The chapter on the technique of radical retropubic prostatectomy is a personal account and not a reference chapter. MAny innovations from other centers are missing making this chapter somewhat biased.

The basis for any urology library

Medicine is obviously a rapidly evolving field and most medical texts receive a periodic retooling. All revisions should be as thorough and meaningful as the Seventh edition of Campbell's. The text has been sucessfully expanded where appropriate and each section further honed. Figures are elegant, pertinent, and well rendered. The references are all encompassing and as current as one can expect in a volume such as this. If there are any hesitations about updating from the sixth edition (which was also a vast improvement from the fifth) I hope to assuage them, encourage the reader and congratulate the authors.

The bible of Urology....

If you need to know urology, then you need this set of book. This edition is set up very well. The 4 books make it easier to look up info. It covers all the major topics in urology and is as up to date as any book can be.
