Fantastic! Very highly recommended!

I loved all the research that was included, and the live links to each one (Kindle version). I found these most encouraging and insightful, with intentions of sharing the information and healing plant medicines with those I know who struggle with PTSD; are enduring the crushing journey of breast cancer; have lost hope and heart; and for the dratted issues of menopause, PMS, and other female issues (and the men in their lives who struggle with their respective stuff too, that I learned Rose can help with too!).
I'm dying to try many, if not all, of the recipes and delicious recommendations in the book's formulas section/s.
On a personal note, this book was recommended for me to read by another. I found much healing, peace, insight, and joy in my journey through reading this book. I thank that person ten times over...you know who you are... Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The first and most thorough in depth study of roses

In depth review of both the history of this legendary botanic through the middle ages, to modern times. Well referenced studies showing that true Rose Oil is "more than just a pretty smell"...that it has powerful emotional, spiritual and, yes, physical effects. Ms. Ashley also includes a wealth of blends, formulas and suggested uses for the different forms of this historical blossom that are available, from using dried petals, precious cold pressed Rose Hip Seed oil for anti aginng skin care routines, to the glories of true rose otto and rose absolute. She even explores the differences between roses grown in different parts of the world. A must have for the natural perfumer, the aromatherapist, or the rose lover!
