A "must have" for period potable makers

Cindy Renfrow has compiled a thorough presentation of period and somewhat out of period recipies for brewers of medieval beverages. She does a great job referencing each recipe and includes a helpful glossary of terms, as well as a lengthy list of herbs and fruits found in those recipes. If you are a mead maker, this is a great reference book to have in your library. I highly recommend this for brewers in the SCA or other reenactors of this time period.

Enjoyable read and great reference.

The author includes cautions and historical notes about recipes. I am just entering the brewing field and this book is providing insight into how I may change my ingredients of mead or cider. This is a great reference book and well worth the cost.

This book is a delight.

This is a truely great book and has much historical information in it. It arrived in good condition and was everything I wanted in a book. It's only drawback is that it relies heavily on Digby's book
